Trauma resources: Bessel van der Kolk, Judith Herman and Bruce Perry are three key authors in the area of trauma, stress and mind/body connection. Each has written several books and articles, and there are several great videos on YouTube. Amelia recommends ‘The Body Keeps the Score’ by Bessel van der Kolk and ‘Trauma and Recovery’ by Judith Herman as two excellent books. ‘The Trauma Project’ on Facebook is also an excellent place to find resources on trauma and recovery.
