When you’re ready to purchase your own, we sell all types of skates, across all disciplines. From beginner to advanced, recreational to professional. All of our coaches are well educated on the kinds of skates available and what is best for each style of skating, so you might want to chat with us at your next class. We love talking about skate gear, so don’t be shy.
To browse the options available, visit our shop.
We provide wrist guards or palm sliders at most of our venues free of charge. We do not provide knee pads, elbow pads or helmets. If you or your child wants to wear extra protective gear, please bring your own or you can purchase some online here.
Class passes may only be shared by a parent and child/ren under the age of 18. The child must be connected to the parent’s Momence account and the parent must contact us to request that the pass be shared. This request must happen each time a new pass is purchased.
All skaters over the age of 18 must have their own class pass which is eligible for individual use only.
RollerFit is a licensed program, meaning each general area is owned and run by an individual licensee. If you have purchased a class pass from one licensed area you can only use the class pass for classes across the venues in this area. The licensed areas are as follows:
- All of NSW and ACT
- Gold Coast
- Brisbane
- Melbourne
Please note that some classes and events may not be eligible for use with a class pass.
The Weekly Unlimited Subscription is available for NSW and ACT RollerFit classes. The cost is $90 per week.

We have classes for lots of different roller skate styles and skill levels. Check out our classes explained page for information on class levels.
At RollerFit we encourage a wide age range to get involved with fun on 8 wheels.
Our RollerFit Kids classes are suitable for children aged between 5-13 years old.
RollerFit Adults classes are suitable people aged 14 years and over.
Artistic Adults and Roller Dance classes are suitable people aged 16 years and over.
We welcome our inline and roller blading friends in our classes. Please note that whilst the basic mechanics of getting rolling are the same, our instructors are experts in roller skates and some skills, exercises and drills may not translate as well to roller blades and inline skates.
You can expect a RollerFit class to run something like this:
- 10 – 15 minutes of warm up time doing laps and structured exercises and stretches.
- 45 minutes of instructed skills with exercises and a game or two sprinkled in between.
- 5 minutes of cool down time.
Roller Dance and Artistic classes follow a different class format with each instructor bringing their own flavour.
We do not have training frames to aid skaters. The venues we hire for classes do not have storage capacity for training frames. Moreover, we believe that frames can encourage skaters to develop the incorrect posture. We think it is best to learn without the frames from the get go.
RollerFit does not operate any roller rinks (as much as we’d like to have one of our own). We hire indoor sports centres or dance studios for our classes.
We run general open skating session at select venues. Find out if your preferred venue has open sessions in the weekly timetable on the venue’s page on our website.
We kindly ask that skaters arrive 5-10 minutes before the class commencement time so you have enough time to get your skates and protective gear on and any waivers sorted.
If you arrive more than 15-20 minutes late to a class the instructor will have to deny you class entry. You will have missed the mandatory warm up and the class will already be in progress.
We know that roller skating is a fun and exciting skill to photograph and video, whether that be to record personal progress or share with friends and family or on social media. Whilst we encourage skaters and/or parents/caregivers to feel comfortable creating this content, we also want all RollerFit participants to enjoy their classes to the fullest extent.
If you would like to photograph or video content before, during or after classes please be mindful of other skaters around you. Keep photography or filming to the edges of the skating space. If you are a spectator please remain on the side of the court, for the safety of all persons in attendance.
If you can see other skaters in your photos or videos, please be respectful and obtain consent. If the photo or video features a child or youth under the age of 18, you must obtain consent from the child’s parent or caregiver. In all cases of obtaining consent please explain the potential use of the content, such as keeping to monitor personal progress or sharing on social media. If consent cannot be obtained we politely ask that you do not include the person in your photo/video, or, if the photo has already been taken or video filmed please delete the content and make sure not to distribute it.
